Play an integral part in the smooth running of the HR function alongside a small and collaborative team within a blue collar organisation

**About the Company**

Based on 50 years of knowledge and operating globally, our client manufactures and supplies equipment to a blue-collar client base. Due to growth and increasing demand they are looking to expand their HR team and add an experienced & hardworking HR Advisor to their team who is interested in developing in their HR team long term.

**About the Role**

In this newly created, hands-on HR Advisor role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ranging from the recruitment process to performance management, for both existing and potential employees, and providing HR advice and support across the business.

**Duties**
- Performance management, salary reviews workplace conflicts/ investigations, grievances - supporting and coaching managers through processes, whilst supporting employees on these matters also
- Policies - creation, update, and review to ensure they are in line with the organisation
- Industrial relations
- Working collaboratively and contributing towards various HR projects
- Managing HR issues across businesses, providing advice
- Recruitment - a strong focus on leading recruitment campaigns and onboarding talent throughout the business

**Skills & Experience**

To be successful for this role you will have:

- Previous experience and knowledge within HR - Generalist or Advisor, Talent Acquisition (experience working with unionized workforce's industries like manufacturing, FMCG, construction or engineering will be highly regarded)
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- Experience in providing advice/support on HR policies and processes.
- A go-getter attitude and able to deal with competing priorities
- The ability to interpret industrial relations
