The opportunity

Playspace Industries is seeking a motivated and skilled Labourer to join our team based in Croydon, VIC. As a Labourer, you will play a crucial role in the construction of high-quality outdoor playspaces, helping to contribute to the overall success of our business.

Key responsibilities

• Performing a variety of landscape construction tasks, including site preparation, concreting and paving, constructing retaining walls, pergolas and decking and installing playground equipment and irrigation systems.
• Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and machinery safely and effectively
• Collaborating with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
• Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience in landscape construction or general building construction.
• Strong practical and manual skills
• Knowledge of landscaping materials, tools, and techniques
• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding work
• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• The ability to work away from home on occasions when our projects are located in country Victoria
