About the role

Major Motors is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team in Port Hedland, WA. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service centre. This is a full-time position, offering competitive remuneration and the opportunity to work with a reputable and growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and engaging with customers to understand their vehicle service and repair needs
  • Providing accurate estimates for labour, parts and maintenance services
  • Scheduling service appointments and managing the workshop schedule effectively
  • Liaising with technicians to ensure timely and quality completion of work
  • Effectively communicating with customers throughout the service process
  • Providing exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships
  • Identifying and recommending additional services or repairs to customers
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to customer service

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role in the automotive industry is preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to effectively address customer needs
  • Proficient in using automotive service management software and computer systems
  • Thorough understanding of automotive services, repairs, and maintenance procedures
  • A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to continuous learning
  • A valid driver's licence and the ability to work in a fast-paced, environment
