The Company:

We are a family-owned business who have been operating since 1962 & is well known throughout Australia as the manufacturer of choice for high quality, polished aluminium products. The production floor delivers high quality handmade bull bars & similar products for a range of large vehicles, encompassing the use of robotic folding and welding apparatus. The Company prides themselves on looking after their workers & creating a quality work environment with flexible start and finish times.

This is not a desk job — you'll be welding and fabricating alongside the crew while keeping production moving smoothly.

The Role:

  • Lead and supervise a team of welders, fabricators and polishers
  • Work on aluminium welding and fabrication yourself – setting the standard for quality
  • Ensure jobs are built to spec and delivered on time
  • Oversee workflow, safety, and workshop organisation

What You'll Bring

  • Strong hands-on experience in aluminium welding and fabrication (essential)
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leading hand role in a workshop environment (essential)
  • A practical, no-nonsense approach to getting the job done right
  • Leadership by example – respected on the tools and confident managing a team

  • Ability to guide the design of technical drawings based on your experience in reading and interpreting drawings

  • Train and support the team to lift skills and efficiency
