**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Orrcon Steel business in our **Northgate** team as a **Warehouse Team Member (Day Shift)**. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally_ _recognised brands.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this is your chance to secure a satisfying and enjoyable role within a great team. You will be responsible for receiving, receipting and storing materials, assembling and loading orders, despatch duties and equipment operation. In addition, you will have the opportunity to show-case your energy and passion supporting a collaborative warehouse team. No previous experience in warehousing or operations is necessary as you will receive training as part of our comprehensive induction program and ongoing support to learn all aspects of the role allowing for future career development opportunities.

This is a Monday to Friday role working a 38-hour week. Day Shift hours commence from 5:30am - 1:30pm.

**What Will You Do?**

This role will offer variety and scope for an enthusiastic team player who enjoys the full spectrum of a busy workplace. You will be responsible for the following**:

- safely loading and unloading our products on and off trucks
- operate remote control gantry cranes and forklifts
- operate CNC saws to process our steel products
- accurately pick and pack orders to prepare for customer delivery
- successfully contribute to a safe working environment
