Facilities Coordinator
Location: Edinburgh, South Australia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Facilities Manager

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Facilities Coordinator to support day-to-day operations across a key contract. This role plays a critical part in managing preventive and reactive maintenance, contractor performance and compliance — while ensuring an exceptional client experience.

You'll be the first point of contact for the Building Management System (BMS) office, responsible for driving compliance with contractual terms, KPIs, and BGIS systems and standards.

Important: Due to the nature of this contract, Australian Citizenship is mandatory, and the successful applicant must either hold or be eligible to obtain NV1 Security Clearance.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and manage all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance.

    • Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of services.

    • Manage service requests and resolve facility-related issues in a timely manner.

    • Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Desirable to have experience in facilities management or a related field.

    • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software (desirable).

    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

    • A proactive approach with a strong customer service orientation.

Qualifications

Desirable: Relevant trade qualification, TAFE or tertiary qualification in facilities management or similar industry.
