About the role
As an Assistant Product Manager within the Lending Operations team, you'll play a vital role in supporting the delivery, optimisation, and day-to-day management of our lending product portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment, and is passionate about improving processes to deliver better outcomes for customers and the business.
Working closely with Product Managers, funder partners, and cross-functional teams — including Lending, Distribution, Customer Experience, Risk, and Technology — you'll help ensure our lending products operate efficiently, meet compliance standards, and continue to grow in performance and utilisation.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you'll contribute to operational excellence, streamline workflows, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the lending portfolio This is not a digital or feature development role .
This is a 6-month max term contract, with the potential for ongoing opportunities depending on business needs.
Job Description- Support the Product Manager in managing day-to-day operations of assigned white label lending products.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal teams, brokers, and external funder partners, ensuring smooth collaboration and timely issue resolution.
- Assist in analysing product performance data, identifying trends, and providing insights to improve customer outcomes and portfolio profitability.
- Help design and implement process improvements to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and drive operational efficiency.
- Support the delivery of pricing and product campaigns in partnership with funders, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with risk frameworks.
- Contribute to the onboarding and rollout of new lending products, features, or enhancements, ensuring readiness across all teams.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting opportunities for improvement or areas of concern.
- Participate in reviews of operational workflows, identifying areas to automate, simplify, or enhance customer and broker experiences.
- Support financial management activities, including monitoring budgets and assisting with reconciliation and reporting.
- Escalate risks and issues appropriately, ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory standards.
- Experience in Product Operations and Lending is mandatory.
- Familiarity with lending products, broker operations, or white-label funding partnerships is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across multiple business units.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and an interest in improving processes and systems.
