About the role

LK Roofing is seeking an experienced Operations Manager (Roof Plumbing) to oversee the day-to-day operations of our roofing business in Wangaratta, VIC. This full-time role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our roofing services to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage all roof plumbing project operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control
  2. Oversee multiple teams of roof plumbing technicians, providing leadership, training, and performance management
  3. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction
  4. Manage inventory, tool, and equipment requirements to support roof plumbing projects
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  6. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address customer needs and concerns
  7. Contribute to the overall strategic planning and decision-making for the roof plumbing division

What we're looking for

  1. Extensive experience (2+ years) in a similar operations management role within the construction or roof plumbing industry
  2. Strong technical knowledge of roof plumbing systems, materials, and best practices
  3. Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  4. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of skilled technicians
  5. Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
  7. Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field would be highly regarded
