About the Role
The Geospatial Specialist is responsible for basic level surveying skills catered towards, survey data processing, 3D Spatial solutions and projects to deliver exceptional quality products to our clients. This role works under the mentorship and guidance of the Manager – Field Operations within the team and requires the application of basic technical knowledge and skills to a range of tasks and activities.
Working as an integral part of our QLD Geospatial team, this role plays a vital part in strengthening our Client Value Proposition by delivering our wide range of end-to-end surveying, mapping, geospatial and sub-surface services.
As with each role at MNG LandPartners, the Data Analyst is key to maintaining our fantastic workplace culture and strong MNG LandPartners brand through positive interactions with colleagues, clients and stakeholders alike.
This role is responsible for
- Compile and process data collected by field teams, including but not limited to, detailed and controlled surveys, Cadastral surveys as well as Aerial and Mobile Laser Scanning and / or UAV data.
- Support As-Built data processing and quality assurance.
- Raw data review and assessment of captured Information.
- Reduction of conventional field survey information, including installation and implementing survey control networks and/or network adjustments.
- Processing of static GNSS baselines and trajectories positional data.
- Registration and processing of point cloud, and associated point cloud workflows including adjustments, cleaning and/or classification.
- Formatting and processing of imagery-based data.
- Derive outputs as directed, including feature extraction, 3D modelling, surface models and imagery products.
- Review of data sets for project compliance.
