Role Description

We're looking for an
Account Executive
to join our Sydney CBD team in a full-time, permanent role. We work

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to
take the next step in their insurance career
— moving into managing their own portfolio of SME clients while receiving ongoing training, support, and career development.

We operate on a hybrid work model — working from our Sydney CBD office Monday to Thursday, with the option to work from home on Fridays.

You'll be:

  1. Managing and growing SME and personal lines insurance accounts
  2. Building strong, long-term client relationships
  3. Designing tailored insurance solutions
  4. Negotiating with insurers for the best possible terms
  5. Assisting clients with claims and policy advice
  6. Keeping up-to-date with industry changes and emerging risks

You'll be part of a supportive, collaborative team that invests in your development and gives you the tools to progress into more senior client management roles.

What We're Looking For

  1. Ambition to develop into managing your own portfolio of SME clients
  2. Experience in using INSIGHT broking platform, as well as Sunrise and SCTP
  3. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel)
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  5. Sharp attention to detail
  6. Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
  7. Ability to work both independently and within a team
  8. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or similar (preferred)
  9. Industry qualifications (e.g., ANZIIF, NIBA) — or willingness to work towards them
