We're on the lookout for a visionary Chef  ready to take the next step in their culinary career in Greek Kitchen

If you're passionate about exceptional food, dedicated to delivering an outstanding dining experience, and ready to lead with creativity and precision, we want to hear from you

You'll work closely with and report directly to the Head Chef, with full support and all the tools needed to thrive in this exciting role.

Requirements


• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety policies, and health regulations.


• Flexibility to working weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities


• Quality and cost control


• Deliver excellent customer service


• Follow workplace occupational health and safety procedures at all times


• Examine all deliveries to ensure quality and product consistency


• Preparing and cooking food, minimising food wastage


• Cooking and plating up food consistent according to the recipe, making sure the quality of the food meets our expectations


• Adjusting and modifying dishes for dietary requirements and allergies


• Ensure stock is controlled and rotated and food is stored appropriately


• Assist with maintaining food and labour cost targets


• Use all kitchen equipment correctly, regulating temperatures and reporting any problems or damage

Skills & Experience


• Proven experience in a similar role within a reputable venue or restaurant.


• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.


• Comprehensive knowledge of food handling and hygiene best practices.


• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.


• Experience with rostering, maintaining wage budgets, and controlling costs.
