Emergency Evacuation Planning Pty Ltd (previously Emergency Evac Procedures) is a specialist provider of emergency management training, emergency documentation (Evac Diagrams & EMP), and tailored emergency response solutions. We help organisations meet compliance requirements and, most importantly, ensure the safety of people in workplaces and facilities across Australia.
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Emergency Planning Trainer to deliver high-quality training to clients across a range of industries. In this role, you will educate staff on emergency preparedness, evacuation procedures, and response protocols, ensuring they are equipped with the skills to manage emergencies effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging short course ECO training, and theoretical and practical First Attack firefighting training sessions to clients, covering fire safety, evacuation procedures, warden responsibilities, and emergency response for a range of emergency situations.
- Observe/conduct Emergency Response exercises, evacuations, lockdown, shelter in place & report on activities.
- Adapt training materials to suit different workplaces, audiences, and compliance needs.
- Support clients in meeting legislative and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate training records and contribute to continuous improvement of training content.
- Ability to conduct site inspections, risk assessments & evacuation diagrams a plus.
Head Office is located in Belrose, however all works are conducted at the clients site.
About You
- Previous training, emergency management, or safety background (fire safety, WHS, or emergency services experience highly regarded).
- Strong knowledge of AS3745 & AS4083
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse groups.
- A professional and approachable manner, with a focus on safety and compliance.
- Current driver's license, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to client sites.
- Willing to travel interstate and intrastate (Newcastle, Wollongong, Central Coast, South Coast, Regional NSW).
This role is ideal for someone with a safety or emergency services background who enjoys teaching and making a real impact.
