2 x School Administration Officer

Term-Time Only + 1 Week | 8am – 4pm | Commencing Term 4

Are you looking for a meaningful administration role that fits within school hours and terms? We are seeking 2 dedicated and organised School Administration Officer to join our welcoming school community on a, full time, permanent basis, starting Term 4. This position is ideal for a parent or carer, as it offers school holidays off. Full training with our Long Term departing officers provided.

Position Summary:

  • Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • Schedule: School terms only, plus one week
  • Type: Full time, permanent
  • Location: Traeger Campus (Year 5-8)
  • Location: Bath St Campus (Transition to Year 4)

Key Resposibilities:

  • Maintain a welcoming environment with empathy towards students and sensitive circumstances
  • Provide secretarial support to the Head of Campus and Campus Executive, including data entry, meetings.
  • Accurately record students' attendance/absences using NT Catholic CES system

  • Work collaboratively with all College staff to ensure specific outcomes are achieved, such as:

  • Student Reports / snapshot reports distributed

  • Assist the Curriculum Coordinator in managing internal systems (SACE, Accelerus, OARS, GradeXpert)
  • Maintain a first aid kit, administer first aid to students and staff, as well as maintain a first aid certificate.
  • Knowledge of Google Docs
  • Duties as directed by the Principal or delegate

Ideal Candidate:

  • A warm and approachable communicator with a strong sense of empathy
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable using a range of digital systems and platforms
  • Holds a current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Prior experience in a school or education environment is desirable
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and work independently or as part of a team
