About the role

CrewSELECT is seeking qualified Electrical Switchboard Testers for busy switchboard manufacturing workshops in Wakerley and Hemmant.

You'll be testing, inspecting, and verifying low-voltage switchboards before dispatch, ensuring all electrical, control, and protection systems meet Australian standards.

  • Wakerley: Permanent opportunity
  • Hemmant: Temp-to-perm position

    Both sites are hiring immediately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform functional and insulation testing on switchboards
  • Identify, diagnose, and repair electrical faults
  • Verify compliance with wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Complete detailed test records and documentation
  • Collaborate with assembly teams to ensure build quality

Qualifications / Experience required

  • Current Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence (QLD)
  • Previous experience testing LV switchboards essential
  • Confident in control wiring, protection circuits & PLC interfaces
  • Able to interpret complex electrical drawings
  • Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and workmanship
