Thermographer (Thermal Imaging) – Electrical Technician

Looking for a new challenge away from the day-to-day tools? ARA Thermoscan is expanding and seeking a qualified Electrical Fitter/Mechanic to join our team. Whether you're an electrician keen to learn thermography or already experienced in the field, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career with an industry leader.

About the Role

  • Conduct thermal imaging inspections of electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Prepare clear, professional reports and provide recommendations to clients
  • Travel interstate as required (including overnight stays)
  • Comply with workplace safety procedures and reporting requirements

About You

  • Current Electrical Fitter/Mechanic licence (essential)
  • Thermography Level 1 or 2 certification (advantageous, not essential)
  • Solid experience with switchboards and components
  • Strong communication, time management, and computer skills
  • Able to work independently, with a professional and client-focused approach
  • Fitness and agility to access switchboards and large sites
  • Willing and able to travel (sometimes at short notice)

Additional skills in Ultrasonic Testing, Vibration Analysis, or HV will be highly regarded.
