About The Role
We are seeking multiple Senior Electrical Engineers
and
Electrical Engineers to join a major infrastructure project in Brisbane. The successful candidates will focus on completions and commissioning, delivering and overseeing complex electrical systems across a large-scale urban infrastructure environment.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, site experience and the ability to manage the close-out of electrical works, testing and commissioning in a live network environment. The role will involve collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, subcontractors and operational stakeholders to ensure works are completed safely, on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support electrical completions and commissioning activities, depending on role level.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams (Senior Engineers).
  • Coordinate and review as-built documentation, test procedures and commissioning plans.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements.
  • Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning of high and low voltage systems, switchboards and related electrical installations.
  • Track progress and ensure closure of electrical scopes, including preparation of quality and compliance documentation.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer or Electrical Engineer in completions, commissioning or construction roles.
  • Hands-on experience in live electrical networks, substations, switchboards, HV/LV installations and cabling.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, permits and operational requirements.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, urban environment.
  • Must be Australian citizen or permanent resident.

Desirable:

  • Rail or transport infrastructure experience.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with commissioning databases and tools such as CCMS.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • RPEQ registration or eligibility preferred.
  • Relevant high-risk licenses or training in electrical work, confined space, and elevated work platforms.
