About the roleAs a Loans Officer in our Palmerston branch, you'll proudly provide a customer experience that is second to none to our Members.
Your role will be to provide exceptional service to existing and new members to assist with their personal and home lending needs, as well as promote, recommend, and refer other banking, insurance, and credit card products to best suit their circumstances. You will be organised, have a great attention to detail and the ability to ask the right questions to obtain accurate information in order to provide a full picture to our Lending Assessors. There is also the opportunity to participate in and generate new business development activities to help grow the member base for the Branch. Working directly with both new and existing Members, you will play a crucial role in Police Credit Union's overall success. We know that work/life balance is important, so we offer stable hours of Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 5.15pm.
About youYou are…
- Experienced in financial services and looking for a refreshing change in the industry with an organisation who truly cares about their Members
- Wanting to build on your lending experience; ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years' personal lending experience and if you have home lending experience as well, that's even better
- An excellent communicator with a strong eye for detail and the ability to ask the right questions

- Adept at building positive, respectful and collaborative relationships with Members and colleagues.

FSRA Tier 2/Insurance/NCCPA accreditations will be a huge tick, however not a deal breaker as on the job training is provided.
