The Opportunity

Distribution, BlueScope Australia is looking for an
Account Manager
to join the sales-based team in
Eagle Farm
. The Distribution business includes Orrcon Steel Distribution, BlueScope Distribution, Metalcorp and Impact Steel.

This is a customer-facing role where you'll build strong, lasting partnerships, develop creative sales strategies, and drive growth in revenue, margin, and market share within Northern Brisbane region. Our customers span industries big and small, and we partner with them to get jobs done right You'll be working with a supportive manager who genuinely values fresh ideas, open communication, and a team culture where everyone feels welcome. What Will You Do?

Based out of our Eagle Farm site, you will be out on the road up to 4 days a week visiting customers. You will:

• spot new business opportunities and grow our presence with existing customers
• collaborate with the sales team to boost revenue, margin, and market share
• build and nurture relationships with industry stakeholders, specialists, and new customers
• research key industry projects to uncover future growth opportunities

More About You

We're looking for someone who's as comfortable talking to people as they are working on a sales strategy. You'll bring:

• experience developing and delivering targeted sales and growth strategies in the steel industry
• proven B2B sales experience
• strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to influence at all levels
• commercial acumen with an eye for pricing, margin, and profitability
