Are you a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper with strong knowledge of Xero? We're looking for a motivated professional to join our growing business and play a key role in managing our day-to-day financial operations.

About the Role

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate is proactive, organised, and confident working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all bookkeeping functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, and superannuation reports
• Maintain and update Xero records accurately and efficiently
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management
• Liaise with accountants, auditors, and other stakeholders as needed
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting and tax regulations

About You

• Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience (preferably in small to medium businesses)
• Advanced proficiency in Xero (certification preferred)
• Strong understanding of GST, payroll, and general ledger processes
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
