Electrical Estimator Role
- We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Estimator to contribute to our Electrical and Renewable Offering division.
- This role will involve driving engineering solutions for key projects, including high voltage systems and renewable energy initiatives such as wind and solar farms.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality assurance inspection and test plans, quantity take-off, and preparing bills of quantities.
- They will also attend site inspections during the tender process, ensure client expectations are met regarding project engineer supervision, and deliver procurement in accordance with company procedures.
- A key aspect of this role is completing detailed cost-to-complete reports in job management software each month.
- To excel in this position, candidates should possess a Licensed Electrician or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in renewables, particularly solar farms and large-scale battery energy storage systems, is highly desirable.
- Candidates should also demonstrate strong skills in project estimation and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- A solid understanding of high-voltage/low-voltage single-line diagrams is essential.
- Familiarity with summarizing and interpreting client technical specifications is also required.
