Private practice in Fitzroy has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our busy Specialist Practice working with Cardiothoracic Surgeons and Respiratory Physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all reception duties including, fax and scan documents, answering telephone, triaging enquiries, downloading and converting incoming electronic documents.
  • Meet and greet patients
  • Medicare and Private Billing
  • Set up specialist rooms as required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Theatre bookings for Respiratory specialist
  • Knowledge of Zedmed and I-scribe software an advantage
  • Experience in medical rooms an advantage but not essential

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday Friday 900am - 5.00pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Medical admin: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Preferred)
