Medical Receptionist

We are a growing dermatology clinic based in Fitzroy looking for an experienced medical receptionist.

ODE Dermatology is a premier destination for medical and aesthetic dermatology founded by Dr Shammi Theesan, who specialises in treating multiple conditions. We believe in patient care and providing every patient with top notch service while making them feel supported in their journey through ODE.

We are looking for a dedicated medical receptionist to join our ODE family. We can offer full time, part time or casual with a hourly figure of $30.00 per hour.
- Welcoming patients
- Undertaking training to learn how to use Clinic to cloud
- Checking patients in on our medical software
- Cross checking all patient details and editing as needed
- Walking our patients through to the lounge
- Offering water to patients
- Billing patients correctly and according to notes from clinical staff
- Lodging Medicare claims where applicable
- Uploading referrals
- Checking patients out
- Booking follow up appointments
- Confidently answering questions about treatments and appointments
- Can complete skin care sales based on doctor recommendations
- Taking clinical photos of patients

- Is able to pick up new tasks in a timely manner
- Is a team player
- Is willing to go the extra mile to ensure our patients are receiving a high level of care
- Medical reception experience (desired)
- Medical software knowledge (desired)
