Formerly the site of a luxury European auto-trader in the 70s, Veriu Green Square hotel accommodation is a new, state of the art building influenced by its emerging locale. Polished chrome accents, high gloss finishes and contemporary details pay homage to history, highlighting where industry meets the modern age.

Responsibilities

First impressions are everything And as our Housekeeping Star, you will have the opportunity to create lasting memories for every Guest, which is why we're looking for individuals who are relationship-focused and take pride in their work. You'll:

• Lead by example in the high standard cleaning of guest rooms, common areas and facilities
• Guest room in-stay & departure cleans to a high standard - qualified as a Self-Checker
• Supervise and provide guidance, direction, and training to the housekeeping team to ensure they meet standards and benchmarks
• Provide feedback on room conditions, particularly areas that require deep clean, repairs or replacement to maintain room standards
• Ensure our 'Veri-Best' housekeeping processes and policies are implemented within the team
• Build strong and authentic relationships with your teammates and our guests
• Ensure a clear line of communication between housekeeping and other teams within the hotel
• Provide support and assistance to the Housekeeping Manager and be the housekeeping expert

About You

The successful person must have:

• Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)
• Demonstrated experience stepping up or supervising a team with kindness
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and lead by example
• High standards of attention to detail and cleanliness
• Great verbal communication skills
• Previous experience within a housekeeping or cleaning role
