Titan Cloud is a market-leading provider of Fuel Asset Optimization, helping some of the world's largest convenience stores, fleets, and suppliers reduce compliance risk, lower asset maintenance costs, and increase revenue and fuel yield. We serve as the enterprise software platform and system of record, connecting our clients' fuel, environment, store operations, and maintenance departments. Our customers save millions annually through reduced lost sales, improved customer experiences, fuel loss mitigation, and reduced environmental reserves and fines.
The primary purpose of this role is to expand Titan Cloud's market presence within its key segments driving sales against pre-determined KPI's. This role is designed to lead efforts to establish, develop and expand market-share and revenue attainment within direct accounts and licensed partners and will involve a significant amount of time spent with customers.
With an eye on profitable growth, the position is tasked to identify and qualify opportunities, develop and drive strategy, predominantly for Titan Cloud's fuel analytics and logistics solutions.
Requirements
Sales
- Develop relevant strategic plans to identify key opportunities in order to develop Titan Cloud's revenue top line across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific (assisting efforts in Asia where appropriate)
- Leverage existing customer network for upsell opportunities, working in tandem with customer success team.
- Establish direct customer relationships and develop a strong sales pipeline of opportunities within the region
- Uncover and run large sales cycle based opportunities
- Set prioritization for key opportunities and liaise with management, operations and key account team to prepare adequately for future business.
- Key Account management (direct sales) to National and Regional networks in addition to fuel wholesalers and commercial fueling locations, in the process developing a strong 3-year sales pipeline
- Negotiation and review of contracts
- Drive specifications with end customers, mandating Titan Cloud's solutions on customer documentation
- Identify and develop new partnership targets and opportunities improving the company's coverage across the relevant region
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback (and suggestions) to company leadership
- Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful channel and partner sales programs
- Assist with global key account management for accounts based within the territory
Marketing / Strategy
- Develop growth strategies in alignment with global marketing function.
- Develop relationships at new business accounts whilst maintaining long standing relationships with distributors, end users and partners
- Conducting of voice-of-customer (VOC) sessions to understand the mindset of key customers
- Working with senior management, own, develop and implement a strategic framework structured towards a minimum of 15% growth per annum for the next 3 years.
- Representing the business to regional regulators and governing bodies, driving specifications
- Co-ordinating (with the broader team) appropriate training plans for customers and partners
- Involvement in Project management discussions as required for significant, customer led opportunities
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- A qualification in business, MBA preferred
- Completion of Sales Methodology training preferred
- 5+ years of experience in B2B software sales
- Retail petroleum experience highly preferred
- An ability to adhere to Titan Cloud policies, procedures and processes at all times
- An ability to represent and role model Titan Cloud culture, values and policies at all times.
- Strong focus on high integrity / compliance
- Client management experience, with a proven track record of achieving sales quotas and maintaining long term customer base
