The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial Account Manager with start-up and/or SaaS experience. This role is critical in bridging the gap between our software development teams and our end users, ensuring our clients can fully leverage our platform to meet their complex needs. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary partner for Australian accounts, ensuring customers gain measurable value from Modo Energy.
  • Deliver onboarding and training for new users while driving engagement of existing teams through regular check-ins, updates, and support.
  • Monitor customer health and usage, leveraging data to demonstrate value and identify opportunities to increase adoption.
  • Collaborate with Product, Data, and Growth teams to channel customer feedback into the roadmap and service improvements.
  • Develop and convert expansion and upsell opportunities by aligning customer needs with Modo Energy's solutions.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years' experience in customer success, account management, or another client-facing role. SaaS experience is critical, energy a bonus.
  • Able to engage effectively with a range of customer stakeholders and build long-term relationships that drive adoption, retention, and growth.
  • Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple accounts while consistently delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Commercially minded with experience identifying and developing opportunities for account growth and expansion.
  • Curious and adaptable, with a track record of learning quickly and improving customer success and account management practices.
  • Familiarity with CRM and CS tools (HubSpot, Gainsight, etc.) would be an advantage.

  • We are an in-person company that values collaboration and team culture. Everyone works in the office Tuesday through Thursday, with flexibility to work from home or the office on Mondays and Fridays.
