Key Responsibilities
Production Oversight
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety and food hygiene standards.
- Monitor production schedules and output, ensuring targets are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Coordinate with Production Supervisors and Line Leaders to resolve operational issues quickly.
Dispatch & Logistics
- Supervise dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to optimize delivery routes, reduce lead times, and maintain cost efficiency.
- Ensure proper documentation and inventory control during dispatch processes.
Quality Assurance
- Work closely with the QA team to maintain and enforce quality control procedures throughout the production and dispatch process.
- Ensure all products meet M & J Chickens' quality and safety standards as well as regulatory requirements.
- Lead investigations and corrective actions for any quality non-conformance or customer complaints.
Administrative Approvals
- Review and approve staff timesheets to ensure accuracy and alignment with rostering and payroll timelines.
- Verify and approve supplier invoices in accordance with procurement and finance policies.
- Liaise with accounts and HR departments to ensure smooth processing of related documentation.
