What you'll be doing
The position of SQL Specialist exists within the Technical Services portfolio of the Digital Health Services Directorate of the Northern Sydney and Central Coast Local Health Districts (NSLHD and CCLHD). This position will be primarily based at a single site however will require some travel to any sites within NSLHD and/or CCLHD. The primary site for this position will be agreed at the time of appointment and periodically as required with Technical Services Management. The SQL Specialist is involved with building and maintaining NSLHD & CCLHD databases and server services. They will contribute in-depth to the technical activities that develop, support and maintain the DHS services of both LHDs and contribute to them operating at maximum availability. The incumbent may also from time to time be required to contribute to related projects such that they are delivered on time and in-line with the organisation's business plan and within the operational and project budget
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- CCNA and CCNP certifications and/or additional industry-based certifications or equivalent relevant experience with experience in DNAC.SDA/Fabric.
- Detailed knowledge of effective identification, investigation and response to security incidents or
weaknesses in the organisation's security with experience in the development of appropriate solutions. - Extensive experience with Cisco network routers, switches, wireless LAN controllers (WLC), firewalls, and Cisco ISE technologies. Demonstrated expertise in configuring and implementing Cisco switches, routers, wireless LAN controllers (WLC), Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA/Firepower Firewalls, Access Lists, and IPSEC-based VPNs.
