Amplify Our Impact Through Clear, Inclusive, and Engaging Communications
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Communications Specialist to join our Marketing & Communications team and support the development and delivery of high-quality internal and external communications. This role plays a critical part in shaping how BHN shares its stories, promotes services, and connects with clients, carers, employees, volunteers, and our wider community.
You will collaborate with the Marketing & Communications Business Partner and Digital Marketing Specialist to create engaging, accessible, and brand-aligned content that reflects BHN's values and strategic direction. Your work will strengthen engagement, build trust, and showcase the impact of community health.
Why You Should Work With Us
Role
At BHN, we believe communication is more than words – it's how we build trust, foster inclusion, and drive positive change. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Deliver creative, clear, and consistent content that communicates BHN's mission and impact.
- Develop multi-channel communications that support organisational initiatives, service promotion, and internal engagement.
- Champion accessibility and inclusivity in communications across diverse communities.
- Work collaboratively across teams to deliver meaningful campaigns that reach the right people at the right time.
What You Will Experience In Return
We offer a collaborative, purpose-driven environment where your voice will be heard and your creativity valued. In this role, you will enjoy:
- A dynamic role with variety – from campaign creation to internal communication and everything in between.
- A supportive team culture where learning, innovation, and professional growth are encouraged.
- The chance to lead and contribute to impactful communications that promote health, wellbeing, and community connection.
- A role where your work has real impact – shaping the way people see, understand, and engage with community health services.
