Solar/ Renewable Electrician- Leading Hand

About The Role

We're looking for a Solar/Renewable Electrician- Leading Hand to join our growing Geelong Team based in North Geelong, 3215 on a full-time basis. You will play a key role in delivering quality outcomes across our expanding portfolio of Solar, Battery Storage and EV Charging Projects.

This role involves working within high-profile and sensitive environments such as hospitals, schools, universities, and government facilities, where professionalism, discretion, and high standards of workmanship are essential. While you'll always have the full support of our team when needed, we're looking for someone who is confident managing their own workload, liaising directly with clients, and capable of resolving issues independently.

This role requires both a current Police Check and Working with Children Check, which will be provided by the Company.

What You'll Be Doing:

Our teams tackle small, medium and large Projects & Maintenance across (Solar/Battery and EV Charging Infrastructure) and this position depending on your experience may include some of the following:

• Attend client work sites across Geelong and Vic Regional.
• Communicate with clients and QA Electrical management in a professional manner.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Use of App based work management systems
• Adhere to OHS policies and procedures and actively participate in a Safety-First Culture.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver exceptional quality.
• Ability to manage a small team safely and maintain our quality of delivery.

What We're Looking For:

• A-Grade Electrician (Victoria) with experience in commercial electrical & communications.
• Solar PV Accreditation (CEC Accredited Installer Licence).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to obtain a current Police Check and Working with Children Check (mandatory).
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
• Current manual driver's license (preferred).
• A positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to quality and excellence.
• A passion for the Smart Energy Sector, Renewables Sector.
• High standards of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
• Strong communication skills for client and management interactions.
• Experience with Microsoft applications and job software systems.

• We work hard With so much growth and ongoing jobs, we rarely sit still. You may be required to work overtime (paid, of course).
• On-call – This role will require participation in an on-call roster for key clients, approx. 4-6 weeks per year.
