About Our Client
Our client is a leading and fast-growing electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC contractor delivering high-quality solutions across Victoria. With strong project wins and continued investment into solar and battery technology, they're seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth across their service and maintenance divisions.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Director, this role focuses on expanding recurring revenue through HVAC/R service and maintenance contracts while helping develop the company's solar and battery division. You'll be instrumental in systemising their business development function and building strong, long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure new HVAC/R maintenance and service contracts across commercial and residential markets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with builders, schools, aged care, gyms, and commercial property managers.
- Identify and qualify solar and battery opportunities alongside the internal solar lead.
- Maintain strong profitability across all new business (targeting ≥40% gross margin).
- Build repeatable BD systems using Simpro CRM and support structured reporting and pipeline reviews.
- Represent the business at client meetings, networking events, and industry functions.
