We're growing rapidly and looking for a commercially minded, highly organised Business Development Manager to join our Sales Team at our Brisbane head office and drive the next wave of customer growth and channel expansion.

About the Role

This is a full-time role based at our Mansfield head office, with a strong field-based focus. While a significant portion of your time will be spent in the field meeting customers and growing business, we expect you to maintain an active and regular presence at our office when not on the road, ensuring alignment with internal teams and accountability to business priorities. The role may also require interstate travel for customer visits, trade shows and industry events.

You will focus primarily on driving growth in our retail business, with additional involvement supporting our food service channel.

Key responsibilities:

· Grow and manage our retail footprint, including direct retail customers and retail distributors

· Support expansion across food service, including cafés, QSR, caterers, and foodservice distributors

· Sell complete food solutions and concepts tailored to customer needs – not just individual products

· Execute product launches, customer onboarding, in-store activations, and promotional activity

· Represent Yumplicity at trade shows and events (interstate travel may be required)

· Maintain accurate CRM records and provide structured weekly reporting and sales updates

· Work closely with marketing, logistics, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and service

· Present weekly reports to key internal stakeholders

We're Looking For Someone Who…

· Has 2 years' experience in retail, food service, or B2B sales (ideally in FMCG or food)

· Holds a valid driver's licence and is comfortable with regular local and interstate travel

· Is highly organised with a strong sense of accountability and time management

· Is technically confident – proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and quick to learn new tools

· Has a commercial mindset, solution-focused approach, and the ability to confidently pitch and sell

· Communicates clearly and professionally with both internal teams and external customers

· Can work independently but thrives as part of a close-knit, collaborative team
