The duties will include but not limited to
- The recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet.
- Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
- Monitoring driver behavior and ensuring a high level of vehicle standards
- Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency.
- Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers.
- Working closely with a Company Manager to develop strategies for improved cost efficiency
- Ensuring that a fleet of vehicles is operating in accordance with legislation and regulations
- Assisting with the drafting and implementation of effective policies and processes regarding fleet operations
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of vehicle inspections and services
- Monitoring fleet costs and ensuring that they remain within budget
Fleet Manager Requirements:
- 2+ years in a fleet manager role.
- Experience in the taxi industry.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
- Quantitative ability.
- Attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
**Experience**:
- Taxi Fleet Management: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (preferred)
