About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and analytical
Business Analyst
to support process improvement, data-driven decision-making, and strategic planning across the organisation. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, analyse business requirements, and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse business processes and identify improvement opportunities
  • Gather and document requirements through workshops and stakeholder discussions
  • Develop business requirements, user stories, and process maps
  • Support data analysis and create performance reports or dashboards
  • Collaborate with IT and operational teams to implement solutions
  • Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and progress tracking
  • Assist with user acceptance testing and change implementation
  • Ensure project deliverables meet business needs and deadlines
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and management

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, IT, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in documentation and process mapping (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts)
  • Experience with Excel, SQL, or BI tools for data analysis
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Understanding of Australian compliance standards and business practices

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
  • Exposure to CRM/ERP platforms or digital transformation initiatives
  • Certifications such as CBAP, BABOK, or Agile certifications are a plus
  • Knowledge of reporting, KPI tracking, or automation tools
