Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented
Business Analyst
to help translate business needs into actionable insights and solutions. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, analysing processes, and supporting decision-making to improve efficiency, performance, and strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and analyse business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Conduct process analysis and identify areas for improvement.
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.
  • Support project planning, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualisations to inform business decisions.
  • Liaise between business units and IT teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Monitor project progress and provide insights on risks and opportunities.
  • Assist in evaluating the impact of proposed changes on processes, systems, and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Economics, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of business processes, workflows, and system development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with project management or agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or business intelligence platforms.
  • Knowledge of the Australian business environment or market trends.
  • Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent.
