Student Engagement Officer

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity to work at Box Hill Institute as our Student Engagement Officer - AMEP. This is a casual opportunity based at our Lilydale Campus. The salary level for this role is PACCT 3.1 $37.57 per hour. This position reports directly to the AMEP Site Manager Lilydale & Community Based Campuses, and sits within the Adult Migrant English Program area of the Foundation Education College.

What you'll do:

* Provide a high level of customer service including verbal and written communication.
* Provide timely and accurate advice and courteous customer service to clients ensuring client satisfaction and professional representation of BHI.
* Provide a broad range of administration support for operational efficiency and effectiveness
* Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with employees at all levels within the BHI.

* Ability to respond to clients' needs promptly and to follow through on inquiries, request and complaints.
* Victorian Working with Children Check clearance
* National Police Check clearance

Qualifications and experience:

* A relevant qualification in Business or Office Administration or equivalent at Certificate IV or above.
* Experience in AMEP, SEE or any other English Language Tuition program is highly desirable.
* Fluency in a language other than English is highly desirable
* Experience in dealing confidently and courteously with people at all levels, and a commitment to providing a high level of customer care in an administrative role
* High level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing high quality, accurate correspondence and reports to stakeholders
* Proficiency in all MS Office applications for a range of tasks including but not limited to, generating letters, reports and database management
