Lin Tang & Co Lawyers is a growing boutique law firm based in Sydney, with a strong reputation for providing practical and effective legal solutions to both individual and business clients. Our team is known for its professionalism, client care, and commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes across a diverse range of practice areas.

As part of our continued growth, we are now seeking a talented Lawyer with 5 years' post-admission experience to join our team.

Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience)

Position Description

Working closely with the Principal, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of matters across the following practice groups:

  • Immigration Law: visa applications, appeals, and judicial review proceedings.
  • Conveyancing & Property Law: residential and commercial property transactions, leases, and due diligence.
  • Commercial Litigation: contract disputes, debt recovery, and general commercial matters.
  • Criminal Law: providing advice, preparing defences, and appearing in court on behalf of clients.

This is a hands-on role offering genuine variety, autonomy, and direct client engagement. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and play a key role in the continued development of the practice.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5 years' post-qualification experience, ideally with exposure to multiple areas of practice.
  • Strong technical, drafting, and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients.
  • A commercial and solutions-focused mindset.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
