Lin Tang & Co Lawyers is a growing boutique law firm based in Sydney, with a strong reputation for providing practical and effective legal solutions to both individual and business clients. As part of our continued growth, we are now seeking a talented Lawyer with 5 years' post-admission experience to join our team.

Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience)

Position Description

Working closely with the Principal, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of matters across the following practice groups:

  • Immigration Law: visa applications, appeals, and judicial review proceedings.
  • Conveyancing & Property Law: residential and commercial property transactions, leases, and due diligence.
  • Commercial Litigation: contract disputes, debt recovery, and general commercial matters.
  • Criminal Law: providing advice, preparing defences, and appearing in court on behalf of clients.

This is a hands-on role offering genuine variety, autonomy, and direct client engagement. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and play a key role in the continued development of the practice.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5 years' post-qualification experience, ideally with exposure to multiple areas of practice.
  • Strong technical, drafting, and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients.
  • A commercial and solutions-focused mindset.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
