We are looking for a full-time AdministrationCoordinator to lead the day-to-day operations of the Shire Office.  You will be the first point of contact for enquiries and visitors to the Shire, Cultural Centre, and Warta Shop.  Other key functions, include managing the reception, provide support for council meetings, records compliance, financial administration, and managing the website and Warta Shop services. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is self-reliant as you will be required to work on your own from time to time.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has strong organisational and administrative skills, with experience in records management.
  • Can deliver excellent customer service and communicate confidently with a diverse range of people.
  • Is reliable and able to work independently - including being the only staff member in the office on some days.
  • Can balance routine administration with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Has strong initiative and the ability to solve problems and manage tasks without constant supervision.
  • Demonstrates cultural awareness and respect, with an understanding that Warburton is an alcohol-restricted community where compliance is essential.
