Join a specialist technology business delivering advanced Data Management and Integration Solutions to the design, engineering and manufacturing sectors across Australia and New Zealand.
Are you an experienced solution sales professional with experience in Industrial Design, Engineering, or Manufacturing?
We're looking for a senior hunter who can engage executives, uncover critical business challenges, and sell integrated software solutions. You'll focus on high-value, consultative sales of systems that combine PDM, PLM, and ERP, providing seamless integration across a client's operation.
What you'll do
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Industrial Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing across all industries. You can target any industry - Engineering, Aerospace and Defence, Automotive, Food Processing, Agriculture, Medical, and many more.
- Lead strategic, executive-level discussions to uncover critical business challenges and drive solutions.
- Sell integrated software solutions, including PDM, PLM, ERP, and complementary integration services, helping clients optimise their engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Apply proven sales methodologies (SPIN, MEDDPICC, Challenger, Miller Heiman, or similar) to develop strategies, handle objections, and close complex deals.
- Own your territory, pipeline, and forecasts, consistently delivering high-value results.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to design tailored, integrated solutions for clients.
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and customer sites to build networks and generate opportunities.
- This is a national role with interstate travel across NSW, QLD, VIC, TAS and New Zealand involving a few days of over-night travel during the working days of the week (fully paid for) and the competitive remuneration package rewards your efforts. If you on-the-road sales and travelling to see multiple clients interstate, this is a fantastic opportunity.
Experience we're looking for:
- Experienced Solution Sales professional with 5+ years selling Enterprise Software or professional services to Industrial Design, Engineering, or Manufacturing clients across any industry.
- Strong track record of leading executive-level business discussions and closing high-value deals.
- Hunter mentality and ability to close and win new business.
- Deep understanding of PDM, PLM, ERP, and integration solutions within manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Self-motivated, highly organised, and accountable, with excellent pipeline and territory management skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing capabilities.
