The Role

An opportunity exists for an
Electrical Engineer
to join their team on a permanent basis. While the position is based in
Bendigo
, applications from
Melbourne-based candidates will also be considered
.

The role involves electrical design, system compliance, and close collaboration with both internal teams and clients to ensure project success. This is a varied position offering exposure to a broad range of projects and strong opportunities for career development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Develop CAD drawings for switchboard layouts and related systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with project estimation and costing across different market sectors.
  • Provide support during manufacturing, testing, and commissioning processes.
  • Work closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related trade qualification.
  • Previous experience in electrical design, automation, or motor control.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, PowerCAD, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards relevant to low-voltage switchboards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
