In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of Aderant billing templates and DocuDraft documents. You will collaborate with finance, legal teams, and IT to design, maintain, and troubleshoot templates that meet client, compliance, and operational requirements.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

  • Proven hands-on experience with both Aderant billing templates and DocuDraft.
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and validation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word automation.
  • Build, configure, and maintain billing templates using Aderant Bill Design Studio or Bill Formatter.
  • Implement Bill Text Variables (BTVs) and conditional formatting to meet client-specific billing needs.
  • Design and configure DocuDraft templates, merge fields, reusable clauses/snippets, and conditional logic.
  • Troubleshoot formatting issues and data integration errors to ensure template accuracy.
  • Use SQL to query Aderant tables for template testing, data validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Automate Microsoft Word-based templates, including advanced formatting and macros.
  • Ensure billing templates meet LEDES/UTBMS standards, multi-currency formats, and GST/VAT requirements.
  • Work closely with finance and compliance teams to align templates with client guidelines and legal requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
