About the role

We at JAX Tyres & Auto Penrith are seeking a talented and driven Salesperson to come and join our team

As a Salesperson, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our wide range of automotive products and services, and achieving sales targets to contribute to the overall success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Engaging with customers to understand their needs and recommend the most suitable products and services
  • Demonstrating and explaining the features and benefits of our tyres, automotive parts, and related services
  • Actively pursuing sales opportunities and closing deals to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets
  • Providing a high level of customer service to build lasting relationships and generate repeat business
  • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities
  • Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with product knowledge and sales strategies

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Salesperson/Front Counter
  • Tyre or automotive industry experience (Preferred)
  • Computer-literate (Marlin Experience Preferred)
  • Current valid Driver's Licence
  • Strong face-to-face customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and prioritisation skills
  • A strong focus on safety and compliance
  • Availability to work on Saturdays
