About The Role

As the Marketing & PR Manager, you will be responsible for leading and executing Marketing and PR strategies for the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) market, ensuring strong alignment with global brand objectives and APAC priorities. Reporting to the APAC Marketing Director, you will own the development and delivery of integrated campaigns that reflect local market insights while maintaining consistency with regional and global strategies.

In this role, you will manage the planning, execution, and optimisation of ANZ marketing and PR initiatives, collaborating closely with agencies, partners, and internal teams to drive high-quality, timely, and impactful results. You will oversee the creation and localisation of marketing assets, manage campaign budgets and deliverables, and provide clear direction to stakeholders to maximise engagement and brand visibility.

Key responsibilities include leading media and influencer relations, managing product communication and press activities, and ensuring all marketing and PR outputs meet brand standards and compliance requirements. You will analyse and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to strengthen market presence and support long-term growth.

Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring trends, gathering feedback from communities and partners, and applying learnings to enhance future initiatives. This position requires a commercially minded, detail-oriented leader who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution, while fostering strong stakeholder relationships across ANZ and contributing to cross-regional APAC projects.

Your main objectives:

· Develop and deliver integrated marketing programs that strengthen the brand identity of PLAION-owned labels, while amplifying and aligning with global Home Office initiatives.

· Drive marketing strategies for distribution partners to maximise brand awareness and leverage global partner activity for local market impact.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with Home Office stakeholders to ensure close collaboration and keep the APAC region front of mind.

· Plan and oversee product release strategies, ensuring cohesive execution across all channels.

· Manage client and partner relationships with clear, consistent communication and reporting.

· Collaborate with the Sales Team to provide comprehensive support, including marketing assets, product information, training, and where required, product demonstrations to retail buyers.

· Oversee agencies from briefing through to delivery, ensuring high-quality campaign and asset execution.

· Contribute to the planning and execution of trade and consumer events, representing the brand and ensuring strong consumer engagement.

· Lead creative executions across channels including TV, trailers, social, digital, promotions, events, packaging, product exclusives, and other marketing materials.

· Partner with licensors and licensees to deliver effective cross-promotional marketing activities.

· Monitor, analyse, and forecast campaign performance, contributing to market planning and budget strategy.

· Manage and optimise marketing budgets to maximise ROI and campaign effectiveness.

· Ensure compliance and approvals are obtained, documented, and audit-ready across all activities.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

· Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.

· Strong organisational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.

· Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.

· A genuine passion for video games and the entertainment industry.

· Minimum 3 years' experience in a comparable role, ideally within the entertainment, technology, media, or video games sector.

· A proven track record of driving revenue growth, managing budgets, and delivering successful campaigns.

· Strong presentation and pitching skills, with experience engaging clients, business stakeholders, and public forums.

· PR and/or event management experience, with established industry relationships desirable.

· A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, able to work both independently and collaboratively.

· Results-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

· Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline highly regarded.
