About the role

Wolfram Limited is seeking a motivated and experienced Supply & Logistics Supervisor to join our growing team at our Mt Carlton operations in QLD. As a full-time supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the smooth operation of our supply chain and logistics functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of our mining operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Co-ordinate day to day procurement activities across site to ensure the operations requirements for inventory and consumable items are met in an efficient manner.
  2. Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to optimise supply chain and logistics operations
  3. Monitor inventory levels and utilisation, and make recommendations to improve efficiencies
  4. Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers/partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials
  5. Produce timely and accurate end of month reports from ERP software(Pronto) on backorders, open orders, fuel, critical parts and obsolete stock.
  6. Identify and resolve any operational issues or bottlenecks in the supply chain
  7. Ensure the best possible pricing is obtained from suppliers for equipment, goods and operational consumables.
  8. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping within the warehouse
  9. Provide leadership, training and mentoring to the supply and logistics team
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain or logistics supervisory role, preferably within the mining industry
  2. Proficient in Pronto for supply chain and logistics management
  3. Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across the business
  5. Tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain management or a related discipline is desirable
  6. A forklift licence and experience in a warehouse environment
