CPH Mining & Civil is seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our established team at BHP's Broadmeadow Mine. Our team delivers vital Surface Civil Works and Surface Logistics Services, ensuring safe and efficient operations across the mine.

This role plays a key part in supporting underground production groups and ensuring all surface logistics activities are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

About the role:

Working closely with BMA Supervisors, you will oversee surface logistics activities, ensuring the safe execution, compliance, and timely delivery of work orders across the mine. This includes managing Logistics Operators, coordinating equipment movements, and ensuring all materials handling and logistics tasks meet Broadmeadow's safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead and coordinate a team of Logistics Operators

·       Allocate tasks, manage priorities, and ensure completion within required timeframes

·       Respond to dynamic operating conditions (weather, scheduling changes, Machine updates)

·       Conduct and participate in daily pre-starts and safety briefings

·       Ensure workers comply with Broadmeadow SHMS, BMA Standards, and all legislative requirements

·       Complete area inspections with BMA Supervisors and review

·       Ensure all logistics activities are controlled, risk assessed and meet site standards

·       Oversee the transport, staging and delivery of materials, bins, pods, components and general supplies around site.

·       Monitor equipment compliance including pre-starts, defect reporting and maintenance requirements

·       Provide written reports of daily works and participate in ongoing field leadership activities.

Requirements:

·       Minimum 2 years' experience in mining logistics or similar supervisory role

·       Experience coordinating logistics within a coal mining environment

·       Ability to lead teams safely and effectively

·       Current Standard 11

·       HR Driver's Licence

·       Current Standard 11

·       Telescopic Materials Handler Qualifications

·       Current QLD Coal Mine Health Assessment

·       Strong understanding of mine safety systems, SHMS, risk assessments and legislated obligations

·       Highly advantageous if already familiar with Broadmeadow logistics requirements (stone dust, QDS, pods, mag bins etc) or exposure to civil or underground support operations

·       G189 and G2 Supervisor qualifications
