Job Description
As a Senior Micro Space Planner you will enhance the in store customer experience and optimise returns on space by ensuring adherence to category flow and adjacency principles, standardising macro space allocation and product assortments, and developing and maintaining floorplans that align with merchandising strategies and brand direction. You will also be responsible for updating and implementing merchandising principles and floorplans, as well as supporting the development and growth of your direct reports through coaching and guidance.
A Peek Into Your Petstock Day
- Work with Space Planning Manager on implementing business decisions on clustering and range principles.
- Maintain the Blue Yonder floorplans within the Category Knowledge Database through life cycle management and aligning the right planograms to the right stores.
- Development of and implement macro space management strategies and processes.
- Commercially assessing new concepts and building into existing and future store layouts.
- Assist Space Planning Manager on any innovation or conceptual designs as required.
- Collaborate with Category Managers to implement category plans through strategy development to achieve Macro Space requirements.
Do you have the below experience and looking to take the next step in your career?
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in a retail environment
- Minimum 2+ years' experience working in Blue Yonder or similar Space management tool
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Qualifications in Business or Visual Merchandising related subject (highly desirable)
- Advanced Knowledge in Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of inventory and financial management foundations.
