Job Description:
As a Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our towing and transport services. You will work closely with drivers, clients, and dispatch team to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of vehicles, machinery and general freight. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule towing and transport requests, ensuring timely service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with customers to confirm service details and address any concerns or special requirements.
- Oversee the assignment of towing personnel and vehicles to ensure optimal service coverage.
- Manage and monitor transportation logistics, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all towing and transport activities, including service requests, timesheets, and inventory.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during transport operations in a timely manner.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective problem resolution and follow-up.
- Collaborate with the fleet management team to ensure vehicle maintenance and readiness.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in towing, transport, or logistics coordination is highly desirable.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or dispatch software systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of the HVNL highly regarded.
- Must be detail-oriented and reliable with a strong commitment to customer service.
