Role Overview

3 day a week role (Monday, Tuesday, Friday )- but open to moving these days. We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Junior Sales Representative to join our automotive team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the automotive industry, eager to learn, and committed to providing exceptional customer service. This role is perfect for individuals looking to kickstart their career in automotive sales.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable automotive products or services.
  • Provide detailed product information and demonstrations when required.
  • prepare quotes in our POS system base don the customs needs, being diligent to ensure all parts are included.

Sales Support:

  • Assist in preparing and sending quotes to customers.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries and quotes to convert leads into sales.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system (Zoho)

Product Knowledge:

  • Ideally we would like an automotive background although whats most important is attitude, ability to pickup tasks and have a good customer centric view. These are the most important aspects of the role. Other key skill sets can be bought.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Assist with stock checks and product displays.
  • Prepare quotes, followup on emails, quotes in our CRM, process payments as needed, mark stock and ensure the diary is correct.
  • Support the team with order tracking and customer updates.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the senior sales team to meet sales targets.
  • Contribute ideas to improve sales strategies and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong interest in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems (training provided).
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Previous retail or sales experience is a plus but not mandatory.
