Our client is a young and energetic company specialising in small-medium commercial construction and fit-out services. They have a superb track record and reputation within their specialised fields. Based in Melbourne and surrounding areas our client works closely with architects and consultants priding themselves on exceeding expectations and delivering complete fully functioning buildings.

The Opportunity:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual looking for that next step in their career. Reporting to the Senior Site Manager/Project Manager, you will oversee and co-ordinate all sub-trades, monitor and maintain all OHS/WHS on site, ensure project timelines are adhered to and maintain an accurate site diary.

You will also be required to communicate/cooperate with clients and represent the company on-site.

As an Assistant Site Manager you will be required to:


• Liaise with the Senior Site Manager and Project Manager to coordinate, supervise and provide direction to sub-trades


• Maintain all OHS/WHS on site, ensure project timelines are adhered to and maintain an accurate site diary


• Ensure all work is in accordance with plans and relevant standards


• Attend onsite client progress meetings

About you:


• Sound knowledge of commercial construction industry


• The drive to learn and develop their skill-set amongst industry professionals


• A great communicator who is proficient in written and verbal English


• Has own means of transport and a valid Australian driver's licence
