About us

We are a privately owned successful construction company working with a range of developers to build high density town house developments all over Melbourne.  With a focus on providing outstanding customer service and a quality product we have experienced solid growth and envision this continuing.

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our Base Team, overseeing all onsite activities from the commencement of civil works through to slab completion. This is a key role that ensures every project begins with a safe, well-organised and high-quality foundation.

About the role:
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors for:

     – Site cuts & bulk earthworks

     – Underground services & drainage

     – Formwork, steel fixing & concrete slab pours
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and site plans
  • Manage site set-out, levels and the quality of all base works
  • Plan, schedule and sequence tasks to meet project program milestones
  • Ensure all works are delivered safely and comply with relevant standards and regulations
  • Liaise with engineers, building surveyors, neighbors and internal stakeholders
  • Complete daily site reporting, photos and documentation
About you:

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • 5+ years' experience in residential construction, preferably townhouses or medium-density projects
  • Strong background in civil, drainage, earthworks or concrete
  • Proven experience running or supervising sites (Foreman / Leading Hand / Site Manager)
  • Ability to read and understand construction and engineering drawings
  • Solid understanding of OHS and site safety requirements
  • High attention to detail with pride in delivering a clean, well-run site
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build solid relationships with trades
  • Current White Card and valid driver's license
