Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Site Manager. Join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in leading high-quality catering services at our Moorabbin site. Reporting to the Catering Operations Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

 

What You'll Do 

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
 

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the site café, ensuring exceptional food and service delivery. 

  • Build strong client relationships through responsive communication and a commitment to continuous improvement. 

  • Oversee food safety compliance, kitchen operations, and staff coordination to maintain high standards. 

  • Manage financial performance including budgeting, reporting, and supplier coordination using Downer systems.

  • Foster a positive team culture through coaching, training, and performance development.

     

What You'll Bring 
 

  • Proven experience in kitchen or catering environments, with strong customer service and financial acumen. 

  • Valid National Police Check, Downer Medical clearance, and Food Handlers Certificate. 

  • Ability to lead and motivate teams, with a collaborative and adaptable approach. 

  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety, hygiene, and operational excellence. 

  • A proactive mindset with a passion for delivering quality and consistency in food and service.
